Important regarding your right of withdrawal

Please note that your 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to customized products, which most of the products at Art By Palaz are. However, we have chosen to give you a 14-day full right of return, as we have no doubt about the high quality of the product.

See the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, Section 18(4).

When you place an order, you accept the general terms and conditions below applicable to Art By Palaz I/S.

Order

All prices are shown in DKK and include VAT. The price for shipping will be shown when you go to checkout.

When you order products at www.artbypalaz.dk, you will receive an order confirmation at the email address provided after purchase.

Payment

You have the following 2 payment options:

  1. Payment cards (debit and credit cards): We accept the following cards: Dankort, VISA/Dankort, Visa-electron, Mastercard, VISA and JBC.
  2. MobilePay

Security

If you pay with a debit card or e-Dankort, you are always protected against misuse. You have no deductible in the event that your card is misused in an online store that uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in its payment system. This means you are better protected than in the physical world, where you have a deductible of 1,200 DDK if your Dankort is misused using the PIN code. Data that you send in connection with purchases paid for with a debit card is encrypted (SSL), and therefore only PBS can read it. Neither we nor anyone else has the ability to read the information.

The amount will be deducted when the order has been shipped from our parcel warehouse.

For custom-made works, the amount is deducted when production or design is started. Never send money to Art By Palaz by mail. We cannot accept responsibility for any lost cash, checks, stamps or anything else sent to Art By Palaz by mail.

Delivery

The normal delivery time for non-customized works is approx. 5 working days. For the product groups Your PopArt and Your Collage, the delivery time depends on how quickly the design is approved by you. If you want the exact date, you can contact us by phone at xx xx xx xx or by email at kontakt@artbypalaz.dk. In the shopping cart, you can select express production for most products for an additional cost.

For packages with a maximum length X circumference of 300 cm, you can choose GLS for delivery, and for packages with a maximum length X circumference of 360 cm, you can choose PostNord for delivery. For images larger than this, shipping is done with Danske Fragtmænd A/S. Shipping prices appear when you get to the shopping cart.

If you wish to deliver abroad, an additional delivery fee will be charged, corresponding to the increased shipping cost for Art By Palaz. You will always be informed of this price before we start production of the ordered product, and you of course have the option to cancel the transaction if you do not wish to complete the order based on the shipping price.

In the event of unsuccessful delivery with Danish carriers, our costs for re-delivery will be charged.

Delays

If delays occur, the customer is only entitled to terminate the agreement if, at the time of entering into the agreement, he has specified the importance of delivery occurring at a precisely specified time and if he has received notification from Illux that this can be complied with.

Transport damage

Immediately upon receipt, inspect the packaging for visible damage. If the product is damaged in transit, DO NOT sign for receipt. The carrier must take the package back, and you must then contact us about this. If you only discover the damage to the product after receipt, you must immediately contact us with documentation of the damage. Including damage to both the product and the packaging. Always make sure to save the packaging until the case is resolved, as it serves as decisive documentation for the transport damage. If we do not have the necessary documentation, we unfortunately cannot reimburse a product damaged in transit.

Right of withdrawal

For business customers

As a business customer, you do not have a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping at Art By Palaz. However, you can of course exercise your right of complaint in the event of product defects and transport damage.

If you discover an error in a newly created order, it is important that you contact us immediately by e-mail kontakt@artbypalaz.dk or telephone: xx xx xx xx. This could be, for example, if you have uploaded the wrong file or ordered the wrong size.

If production of your order has not yet started, we can cancel your order without charge. However, if production of your order has already started, you will be invoiced for the order in whole or in part, depending on how far along it is in the process.

For private customers

As a private consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us.

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you have received your item or the item has been delivered to a parcel shop/post office. The period means that you have 14 days from receipt or delivery to a parcel shop/post office to notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You can do this by sending an email to kontkat@artbypalaz.dk with the information you find here.

Once you have notified us that you want to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us.

For products that are custom-made, the legal right of withdrawal is only until production begins. We have nevertheless chosen to provide a 14-day right of return for goods in these product groups, however, with a maximum refund of 5,000.- DKK including VAT. The right of withdrawal cannot be used if it is done solely to harm Art By Palaz, and whether this is the case is decided by Art By Palaz. If you exercise the right of return, you will be refunded the amount corresponding to the production itself, including printing and framing. There is no right of return for graphic work, such as pop art or collages, or costs in connection with shipping.

You can cancel your purchase by refusing to accept the item, returning it or delivering it to our address in person. Once we have received the item back and verified that it meets the cancellation rules, the amount we refund will be transferred to the card you paid with or to your bank account.

If you regret your purchase, you will be responsible for the return shipping. We can help you book the return shipping, or you can arrange it yourself. Please note that the return shipping cost may be higher than the price you paid to have your order shipped. This is because the actual shipping cost is often more expensive than the price you paid when you placed your order.

Return

Returned goods must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice and information about whether you want the item exchanged or whether you want the money back.

For fast processing, please label the package with your order number and optionally include a printout of the order confirmation you received by email when you placed the order. Returns are handled in the order we receive them. If you have not heard from us within 5 business days of submitting the return, please contact us.

Please note: We do not accept packages sent by COD.

The condition of the item when you return it

When you return, it is important that the item is packaged properly so that it is not damaged during transport. You can use the packaging your item came in. Illux does not cover any packaging costs in connection with returning an item.

If the item has lost value because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, you will not be able to get your full amount back. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item.

Complaint

According to the Danish Sales Act, all goods have a 24-month right of complaint. The right of complaint means that you as a customer can complain about faults and defects in the product that have arisen up to 24 months after purchase. However, it is a prerequisite that these defects have not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other harmful behavior that has caused the defect. You must file a complaint within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. If you file a complaint within two months of the defect being discovered, the complaint will always be timely. As a consumer, you can demand replacement of the goods if the complaint is justified and replacement does not entail unreasonable costs for Art By Palaz, or is otherwise impossible.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in proper packaging. Also remember to get a receipt for shipping so that we can refund your shipping costs.

Submitting your own design

If you wish to have a motif supplied by you produced, it is your own responsibility to have the necessary permission to reproduce the material supplied. Art By Palaz is not liable for lack of legal authority for reproduction, duplication or publication of writing, drawings, patterns, illustrations, texts, trademarks, other business characteristics and other product equipment including design or other things that may be subject to third party rights. If Illux incurs liability to a third party due to your lack of legal authority to exploit the third party's rights, you will indemnify Art By Palaz for such liability.

  • Art By Palaz reserves the right not to produce your motifs if we are in doubt whether it violates the law or may be offensive to someone.
  • Art By Palaz reserves the right not to produce your own motifs if, by Art By Palaz is considered to be of poor quality.
  • Submitted material will not be seen by anyone other than employees at Art By Palaz and any subcontractors to Art By Palaz, without your consent.
